Me and omnedon went out scavanging today and totally scored, just wanted to brag:P
We got for free-
2 NES..broken but fixable and 2 Sega CD's (might not even be broken)
Some random Instruction booklets
A nes holder rack thingie.

Then i paid for A SMS for 4 BUcks, without cords, then lucked out at the next store and found cords for 99cents apiece.
Then the sweetest part...at this pawn shop we found 6 NES games that had the shrink wrap removed at the top, but it was obvious the games had never been removed from the box...and they were
$5 Final Fantasy
$5 Uncharted Waters
$5 Romance of the Three Kingdoms
$5 Romance of the Three kingdoms 2
$10 Romance of the Three kingdoms 3 (SNES)
$10 Inindo (SNES)

The last five are all KOEI games, which rules cause there pretty much one of my favorite game company's
Anyways, it ruled, and i never get to post about my good finds cause i never really have any:P

I swear, mattpfeil is good luck. Like REALLY good luck! I think matt should auction himself off as a scavenger good luck charm.

I do the circuit he and I did today, every week. Never before have I found so much great stuff, so cheap.

We almost didn't go in to the pawn where he spotted the awesome games. I'd been there four times before, and found squat....

Goes to show!

Naaah, we met thru this forum. We're just considerate. 8) I got most of the parts stuff (i fix stuff), and I got the Final fantasy. He got the other games.

Matt knows Nintendo stuff waaay better than I do. (I'm stronger on oldschool stuff and SEGA) Between available funds, and the fact that he spotted the great Nintendo deals, it was no problem. I found the places for him, and he spotted those real NES treasures. I spotted the SMS (he didn't know what one looked like :P ), but I already had one and a spare. I spotted the cables too.

It was pretty even, and fact is, Matt is a class act.

:D

pretty much it goes like this...
If we find an airstrike its his...if we find a panesian its mine....basically, we have different interestests, hes more into older school stuff, and im in to the neo stuff mostly, so its pretty easy to divide...
(i hope one day well find either of those afore mentioned games:P)
Steve is a good guy..and hes got even gooder stuff:P (i know gooder isnt a work)
Nah, hes fun to hang with, and he is especially handy with the systems and fixing them up, its nice to have someone to trade broken for working straight up, cause its all the same to him.
Anyways, yea i just moved here and i dont have any freinds, so i beg people from the forum to be my friend:P

LOSER!

murphy's law on good system deals: you'll always have to pay more for the cables if they don't come with the system...

it's a given, though- if you want to make sure the system runs perfectly, shell out for new cables...
