Does anybody have/use the Capcom Pad Soldier for the SFC/SNES?

And what are your impressions of it?

It works very good with Streetfighter games. I dont have it any more, but I wish I did. :D

I have one for both the SNES and 3DO. I seem to remember it being awkward at first, but that was after about 8 years of playing SFII with a regular SNES pad.

I read that these controllers were originally designed for Capcom's own home system that was released in Japan. Maybe they converted them to 3DO and SFC to unload unsold stock.

I've got one for SFC and 3DO as well. They're a blast for playing fighting games, but feel kind of clumsy for any other genre. If you were looking into getting one, I'd say go for it!

Want one? I've got one I'm trying to sell.

Really it's pretty groovy for doing the fighters on the SNES, but for everything else, I'd pass.

I like mine. I got it for about $5 at EB when they were scuttling the SNES stuff in the mid 90s...

It is good for fighting games, although I feel the d-pad is a little rickety...

I play Super Smash TV pretty well with mine... :)
