GameSpot had this message from Nokia:

http://www.gamespot.com/ngage/news/news_6075595.html

Otherwise known as Nokia saying "Yes, we know our system is going to bomb, and we can put some of the blame on YOU! Help save our failing system and our ass!" :D

"Given the unique features of the Nokia N-Gage, we expect people to submit some amazing ideas that really take advantage of the Bluetooth wireless technology

OMG FORUM RPG

and GPRS connectivity, as well as the community spirit of the N-Gage Arena,"

What community..?

"The Nokia N-Gage is poised to become the mobile online gaming platform,

Can you hear me now? ...Can you hear me now? HELLO? @$#*Kin' service!

and the Game Battle competition gives developers a chance to get involved in creating a new generation of exciting games."

Ran out of features already, I see.

N-Gage games can be created and tested using tools and emulators provided by Forum Nokia free of charge.

How nice, I'll have to make an instant classic right now. What!

In all honesty, I like the look of the N-Gage, if not all of the design, and I'd like to see the ideas behind it survive. Don't think it really has a chance though.

How about Not Just For Cows: The Game?

Yeah, it's old, but it's still funny.

Apparently two gamestop managers came back from their yearly conference with free N-Gages and love them.

...they however also say it has no chance in hell, thanks to competition from Nintendo and Sony. But, apparently it's a fun to play system. Now I'll -really- get one when they go bargain bin :-D

Hey, I'VE got a game for them!

Begin:
PRINT "Does the N-Gage suck?"
PRINT "Press 1) for Yes"
PRINT "Press 2) for No"
INPUT "Your response?", A$
IF A$="1" THEN GOTO Finish
ELSE "You are a complete moron. Let me ask the question again."
GOTO Begin

Finish:
PRINT "Then why the hell did you buy one, you schmuck?"
END

Now where's my ten thousand dollars?

Funny, but merciless. I don't think the system will be THAT bad, though Red Faction II virtually looks like it's running on a Playstation.

I played with the engage for a while the other day....oh man...Played tomb raider, 100% port from the PS1. But the screen is cramp with its tallscreen display, controls were unresponsive and it took me forever to find out what the buttons were. It was like playing a playstation game with an intellivision conroller, only smaller. Graphics were fine, but it's just imposible to have contol when there are 11 buttons in a 2 inch area . Worst, was that you have to remove the battery every time you want to change a game...Whoever designed this thing must work for Nintendo or Sony, because the design is the downfall.

I would love one too if I didn't have to pay $300.

I'm also going to put more stock in what can dude here says over the supposed exclamations reported at least third hand of two Gamestop bigwigs.
