I've never sold on ebay but I'd have to assume something like this would violate their rules.

No it's not against the rules/
It's basically just a portable computer. (although a darn good one ) Just because a computer can do emulation , E-Bay won't ban it.

They're using their affiliate banner to link to Lik-Sang. Now that's not right is it? The affiliate will get a kick back ($$$) if a purchase is made as a result of that link.

I'm sorry, I should have been more specific. It's not that he's selling the GP32, I believe it's against the rules to use ebay simply as an advertisement. He's not allowing you to bid on a GP32, he's just using ebay to link to the other site.

Isn't that against the rules?

O.K I'm an idiot. Yes this is against the rules.
You're allowed to link to 1 website if it is to show what the item is or the worth of the item. Not to promote another websites sales.

Come on give me a break. It's 9:30 in the morning and decent people should still be asleep. LOL

So, what happens if someone bids and "wins" the auction?

Somebody already bid , so ask them when it ends . :-D

I guess they would give you a negative for bidding when it says not to. LOL

And then they would have to re-list the item.
