Part 1 is now $20 cheaper, and has been for quite some time. Since Part 2 came out I thought.

But now that Part 3 is out Part 2 is still full price.

Did they grossly overproduce Part 1 (and cut the price to move some units), will they eventually cut the pricing of Part 2, or was the first price drop just an incentive to get you hooked on the series.

I ask because, although Part 2 is still around in stores, it's not everywhere anymore (like Part 3 is), so I'm wondering if the price drop is coming before I decide to pick it up (although maybe I should just finish Part 1 first).

I think Part 1 would have dropped in price regardless because it is kind of bad to already have a 3rd part in a series and sell part 1 for the same price as part 3 and 4, part 2 will most likely drop soon IMO

I'm just waiting a year or 2 until they release the boxset, heh. I can't EVER justify paying $200 for one game. (Parts 1-4 aren't very long from what I've heard, might make up 2 normal sized games, which means you're basically paying $100 for each game.)

Wulf, i can't blame you there. As much as I want to play and watch the OAV, the price is way too high right now.
