I got my TG16/TGCD combo at a flea market about 6 months ago (Came with 16 games and was only $40!). I plugged it in the next day, and it all worked (Well, I have to go on a long quest to get a TGCD AC adapter). So, in July, I got the right AC adapter. 4 of the games were cds: The Addams Family, Ys 1+2, Ys 3, and Valis II. I tried them all, and they worked for the most part-That is, until I tried Valis II. It may just be some problem with my unit, but it took at least 5 minutes to load the first level, and once it had loaded, ALL of the sprites were really messed up. The girl was fine, but it appeared as if the wrong set was loaded. Nothing seemed to match up correctly. I could barely tell that I was in a city. Does anyone have any idea why my game is like this?
