The CGCC.ca has added a few vintage catalogue scans that some people here may be interested in checking out. Since they're all Canadian few of you have probably seen them:

Man I wish I still had that old (canadian) Sears catalogue from about 1987, it had a four page spread all dedicated to the Sega Master System.
I held on to that catalogue for years, then one day mom thru it out... sigh

the memorys of a Sega fanboy

Great scans!!! I liked looking at them.

Look at those adults and nice kids in the ads, clean shaven, nice, just your boys and girls next door. Noone wears cool sunglasses showing you the finger. Those were the days. :)

Ah, the Consumer Distributing catalog!!! I used to love looking at the toys in it (since we had a local Consumer Distributing but no Sears, and the Toys R Us wasn't that close for kids on foot, that was our main supplier of games and toys. That's where I got my GI Joe and Atari 2600 games in the late 80s (circa 1987).

4 scans from 4 different chains... and only one remains to this day (in fact, I've never heard of The HBC's Shop-Rite catalog service). If you find more, put more on line!!! I just love those old catalog scans!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It always disappoints me to see a fellow Canadian use the word Canuck.
