I'd just like to say hello to some of the new members I see on the roundtable. My posting on this board comes and goes.... in the beginning (2 years ago) I posted on average 10 a day, but recently my posts come in long unexpectable gaps.

Recently I've been posting a lot again (Probably goes hand in hand with me getting back into games after a drought of some sorts for me) and I see many new faces. It's good to know there will always be gamers to talk to here at what is truely a virtual home. So many people have come and gone over these two years, and while I do still know many of the wonderful people here, many of you newer members I know nothing about. Names that are starting to be recognized in my conscience are Dreamcaster and Soulblazer.

Well, for what it matters, here is my late welcome to the board. I gather personable people is the glue of this gaming community and thats all I'm trying to be.

KEEP GAMING you guys!

Hey, lots of us have been long time regulars without saying a whole lot over the years! :-D

hrm... I spend probably at least an hour a day reading this site for the last FOUR years... I suppose I should chime in a bit more :embarrassed:

Welcome back Shinobi! I'm one of those faces that appeared during your hiatus. The funny thing about gaming is, even after being away from it for a while, you can pick up a joystick one time and bam ... it all comes back to ya.

Besides, a guy named after a cabinet I own can't be all bad ... ;)

Did the policies on Avatar size change or something? I seem to see a lot of huge ones.

I like big avatars, but was curious because the Profile page still says 80x80 limit.

Oh, and I'm Jasoco, long time poster, first time asker-about-avatar-sizer. 8-)

Flack, you may have been here only a short time, but it feels like it's been much, much longer than that...

Hey, I meant that in a GOOD way! :)

And about the avatar question.. One of the options (Link to offsite avatar, I believe) has allowed people to circumvent the 80X80 restriction, because the code for it isn't working, or something. However, we still ask people to fix them if they're TOO much beyond the 80X80 as they can get annoying.

I seriously haven't been on here for even a year, and look how many posts I've got! Proof that I have an overload of time on my hands, and I don't have an effin' clue on how to spend them. Yes, I essentially have no life. :bawling:

But welcome back, ShinobiMan! Just out of curiosity, what's your favorite Shinobi game? Mine's gotta be Revenge of Shinobi on the Genesis. Hooray for Yuzo Koshiro! :D

You must have been gone quite a while, because I don't think I've seen you post since I've been here.

Anyway, its always good to have a veteran return.

Welcome back 8-)

Welcome back Shinobiman. I to am one of those people that appeared during your disappearance. It's always nice to have a veteran of these forums provide input. :)

Wow, you hear that guys? I'm a veteran! If I'm going to be a veteran of anything I'd want it to be of gaming and this board. Heh. The fact remains, the TRUE vets are Punkoffgirl, Sylentwulf, DP, Arcade Antics etc.

But, I have been here a long time. 8-) Remember the EZ Board days guys? @_@

Thank you for the warm welcomes. Another reason I love this group. Long live the roundtable I say.

Oh and Kaine, besides the usual SMS game or two every other month, I picked up the Gamecube import of Bonks Adventure! I need to start a new thread about it because it is quite interesting.

Or the adventures of Eagle and Jet.... did those two really want to make a game out of us? And then the threats? That was a crazy time.

And lets not forget the SMS Gnomes... LOL O_O

Well with their antics they did play a game with us, so to speak.

Got any screenshots of that Bonk's import?

I guess I'm still new, I've been here for about 2-3 months but I've been collecting much longer than that.

I post a lot too, a WHOLE lot, because I'm at work all the time and I have not much better to do when customers aren't around. So I'm here! Yeah....I love this place! :D

I must wonder if I too am still considered "new" here...? I started coming here after being blasted away by CGE2K3 last year. And that, as they say, is that. All thought I don't really know you, it's good to see that you're out of a gaming "depression," ShinobiMan!
