What do you think? I read that it is somewhere between GC and 64 in power. Very interesting.

The interesting part is the fact that it plays emulated SNES and N64 games that you put on a 64MB flash cart, and pay 5-6 dollars to download. Why don't they do something like that here? Do we have to generate a multi billion dollar pirate empire before Nintendo will sell us their old games?

I see no nintendo logos on that thing. Maybe it IS a pirate console.

Well if it wasn't at the Tokyo Game show I would agree.

It was also announced on Gamespot

Also, why is it that every Freaking controller being made nowadays is following the Dreamcast / Original Xbox style of controller. I thought it was universally understood that those were BAD controller designs?!??

This thing resembles some unlikely pairing of N64 and Xbox controllers, though at least its d-pad looks to be easier on the thumbs than the Dreamcast's directional button. I'm convinced that the designers of the DC controller were laboring under the delusion that everyone would be using the analog stick, and that the d-pad, like parsley, should be little more than decorative.

I tried submitting this to the news section last night, but it has not been updated yet. They had a good article on it...... now let me see if I can find that link again.

I will concede that the DC controller is a fine controller if you concede that it is on par with the original Xbox controller :D

actually, i submitted the story on friday morning, i believe. as soon as i saw the news, i got a laugh at the nintendo spokeperson's quote (he made it seem as if the company has basically given up on the us and european markets, and is looking to china as their new marketplace, lol), and submitted the article... LOL
