is $100 really that unreasonable for a working Vectrex?
I know that it isn't a steal but I don't think that it's highway robbery either.

That seller is just wasting his time putting that up. Why would he start at 100 and still have a reserve?

Wow, I looked at the wrong figure before. I only saw the $100 starting price. I missed the $899 BIN. LOL

Why even put up a BIN price is it's ridiculously high? That just doesn't make sense to me.

Because it makes sense to some bidder who doesn't know any better.

How much did a Vectrex cost new? It could be someone that is convinced that things only appreciate in value.

I don't remember how much they cost new. I DO remember that when the company went under, a Boscov's store in my area was selling the units on closeout, bundled with about 6 carts, for $20 each and I only bought two! I remember that they had a stack of Vectrex units that almost went up to the ceiling, for $20 a pop! I just KNEW I should have talked to the manager and bought a whole pallet of 'em...

If you actually did that BIN price, paid $60 AND lived in Florida, the taxes ALONE would be almost $70 ... which is about $60 more than I would pay for one of those things.
