I was lucky enough 5 years ago to find one of these things, but as the years have gone by, the shrinkwrap has begun to tatter and open on its own. so should I finsh the job? Will I be losing $50 of collector value if I do?
Advice is wanted.

Yeah, this original Picassco I have is fading, so I thought I'd grab a paintbrush and touch it up. :roll:
Don't make us smack ya around! Leave that tattered plastic in place! Tattered or not, as long as it's "sealed," you have a nice piece. Open it and you have indeed killed the value. Besides, it's not like you can take it out and USE it, seeing as how the service shut down 20+ years ago. So, no sense in damaging it further, in my eyes.
