What is it and what does it do?

I saw a picture in this magazine (forgot what mag it was) of an N64 sitting on top of this other white console. Does anyone know what it is... more importantly, what it does?

Hmm the only thing I can think of is a 64DD. But I think those are only released in black. Not sure, but I think the dev kit, or some component of it, also has something like this... anyone else?

I think it is the doctor 64. U can put games on floppy disks or cd's.

So u don't have to buy every game, but rent a few and then copy them..
