What's the best way to get a former rental cart to look like it's original condition, before they put all their damn stickers on it?
You know those "WARNING: DO NOT REMOVE" stickers?
When you try to peal them off, they leave this metalic residue stuff. It seems impossible to peel off.
Does anybody know any trick to this?

A little alchohol and a rag + a little rubbing takes all those metalic "void" marks right off.

I second that. Alcohol works good as long as it's not on the label. If it's on the label , use Goo Gone and let it sit a little while and then try to wipe it off gently.

I would never use Goo Gone on a label. If it is on the cart itself I would, but NEVER a label. alchohol works fine as well.

goo gone works good, excellent actually, but u need to know how to use it

hmmmm, i would hold off on the substances. those void stickers always come off with a little dry rubbing. and if there is any smearing left. has anybody ever tried peanut butter. you may think i'm joking....but try it. it makes you wonder what's in peanut butter. i'm pretty sure it's just the oils though. it loosens up the glue quick and safely. i don't think you're going to spill peanut butter, it's cheap......and it won't hurt your label, unless it gets crusty or something LOL
but when using peanut butter, stick with a small amount because if you don't.....the excess will just get in the way and get wasted anyways. just put a little bit on your finger, and rub in a circle around the entire area. wipe it off.......repeat as needed. and i cannot stress using small amounts enough, you can always get a little bit more, but it can get messy.....not that you can't clean it up....just saves some hassle. as well.......you should have enough for you to rub your finger around easily. if it feels too dry, the oils are soaking into the adhesive and you aren't using enough. don't know if those are all quotable things, as i'm not a scientific genius but hey, i swear on my video game collection that peanut butter works(also, that's alot for me to wager LOL ) and i HAVE come across a couple labels and stuff of that nature that peanut butter didn't seem to touch it at all. you will know quickly enough if it's working or not. and let me know what you guys think of the peanut butter treatment. and don't do anything i said to do.......if you don't feel comfortable for whatever reason then just don't do it. don't come back here bashing me because your dog ate your video game or something because there was peanut butter all over it. i need sleep -_-

The best way I found to remove that glue left behind is to use WD-40. No joke it really works along with a cloth rag.

you keep rubbing the peanut butter in swirls.......god it sounds so ridiculous but it works. goo gone may work good too......but you have to be very careful...

Dip it in liquid nitrogen and then gently tao the cartridge with a huge-ass sledge hammer.

lol, now everybody thinks i'm joking......or atleast that's what it smells like LOL
i used peanut butter to clean the wax out of a glass jar today for my mom. and it worked, even better than trying to heat up the jar and use cleaners on it.
EDIT: omnedon, she may also like it if you rub the peanut butter in swirls.....so that's what i recommend. make sure you only rub where you need to though, no use in over rubbage ;)
