Mega Man 7 question

hia all, probably a basic question for you more experienced and knowledgable gamers (suck suck), but i'm wondering if any of you have come across a PAL version of Mega Man 7 for the SNES.

It's just that i scored one the other day on 'the hunt', and all of my friends thought i was bullshitting them when i told them, because they all thought it was only released on NTSC. it is certainly a European release (it's instructions are in English, German and French), and was released by Laguna software. yet the guy i bought it from said he got it here in Australia.

so i guess the question is 'is this a rare find"? i love the game and am not parting with it, and for the record i bought it mint/boxed for AUD $40.

any help would be appreciated on releases etc, and does anyone else have a PAL copy of this tops game?

I see them fairly often on German eBay... so it obviously had a decent release there if anywhere at all.

Mega Man 7 was released in Germany like any other capcom game :)

btw, you've got the German Release (though it may be a european version, it still is a german release) cause it's published by Laguna, and Laguna only publishes to Germany

I second that. The time MM7 was released in Germany I was there on a short visit, and I remember my surprise that Capcom didn't publish the game.

I'v had a few Megaman 7 carts in the last 3 to 4 years,

4 UK PAL

2 Australian PAL

2 GERMAN PAL

I'm sure there is also a French Pal version as well!

Laguna published all the PAL regions, it was a deal they had, either a developement or publishing! not sure, this also carried on with Megaman X2 and X3 Pal versions.

The JAP and NTSC versions where just Capcom! this leads me to thinking laguna took care of promotion and sales of these games in the Snes PAL regions!

I recently sold a Snes Megaman X2 PAL (complete), all the MM games (apart from X) are rare but not mega rare, the mega rare thing is finding 7 or x3 in mint condition complete!

They certainly released anything in the Netherlands. Since Netherlands, Belgium and France was regular seen as one market (FAH) at that time, I doubt it was released in France, since it would have been released in the Netherlands too then. The official Dutch Nintendo magazine never covered the Mega Man SNES games either (except for Mega Man X)
No I rarely see Laguna games here, the ones I see are from Germany.

I'm pretty sure that there is no French version.I think Laguna is just a distributor. They also distributed NES Ufouria. Guess what? Didn't get a release in the FAH-market either.

The PAL UK and Australian versions all had the laguna logo on the box cart and manual, and the laguna logo also appeared on MM7 X2 and X3 ;)
