I saw one with the bike a year or two ago when I was looking for exercise equipment... it wasn't listed with the game title but it was clearly an snes hooked to the cycle and advertised as exercise cycle with video game attachment. I should have bought it, I guess, since it ended at like $175.

I am very surprised to see this up on ebay, I don't know who the seller is (is that someone who is a member here??), but I have dealt with them before and they are excellent. I am guessing this game could go pretty high, considering there are many SNES collectors who don't have this game.
Glad I have mine.

Because we are going to have to move soon, etc Brian is selling just about everything. This is indeed one of our auctions. I hope someone here wins it, more stupid people join ebay every second it seems. We could use some sanity!

Hey, just a note for people interested in this game. We've gotten a LOT of offers to end auction early but we're going to let it just go. We're expecting some major sniping on this one, and would prefer it go to a board member, so program your software/keep your eyes peeled etc.
If a board member wins it, free shipping :) Just let us know

I would agree, considering this game has never shown up on ebay complete (let alone brand new). I can name at least 4 or 5 normal SNES ebay buyers who will be after this hard. I see justus77@attbi.com has already bid, but look for v1rich, ladyofvines, skier232, itsmeins, vidkid40 and probably a few more that may go after it.
Nearly every copy of this game (including mine) has originated from anotherfluke, you would think that more have surfaced, but as of now, there are less than 10 of this game that are confirmed. I am sure there are more out there, but if there were, you would think more of them would have surfaced on ebay by now. Good luck to all and help Choco get a good chunk o money for this one! :D

One thing to remember though Marty, you can snipe on ebay and not have a chance to react to the highest bid at the last second, unlike CGE where it goes until the bidding stops. This one will be fun to watch.

With all due respect, the game is at $304 right now and it hasn't even gotten to the sniping yet. I would bet it will hit between $400 and $500 (at least) and also, you can't bootleg what you can't get a ROM copy of. (which you can't with this game)

Judging from their bidding, I would say it's a shell account (or backup account) for a collector. I certainly thought it would go higher, but that still is pretty good.

in this case youre right of course ;)
although im sure someones gonna dump it sooner or later.
do you know how many copys of this game exist ?
you are the one with the massive us snes collection arent you.
do you have any idea of sfc rarity/pricing?
i only know about all the really popular stuff like the square samples or feoez shounen jump no shou.
do you know anything about the sd f1 grand prix sample?
sometimes i have the feeling they produced more samples than retail carts of this game ;)

Huh??
Ummmm......I'll try to answer some of your questions. Right now, there are less than 10 that are known of right now (by no means does that mean there aren't others). According to another poster who I hold in high regard (D_N_G), the ROM has not been dumped and there is a good possibility it never will. Check the rarity listing here for the exact rarity (R8 $150). The rest of your qustions, I have no clue what you are talking about.

hmmm.......... :hmm:
i'm curious why you don't see any value in keeping something sealed up. i mean, it's better than mint.......it's new. a guy just paid me $2500 for a bunch of brand new(sealed) NES games.....and i like to think he got a good deal, due to their value. i would do nothing less than point my finger and laugh at a person if he bought this and opened it.
now.......not that a sealed game would have value to you, but it has more value to everybody else.
what's the value of a model A today, if it was never driven. worth a lot more than one driven hard and sitting on it's axels if it even has those........sorry that example sucks but it's the best i can come up with this late -_-

Well.. some guy recently found a sealed Bubble Bath Babes and opened it.. I didn't see anyone jumping on his case.
In this instance if Evan had opened it, there would be a greater purpose (that of dumping the rom) than simply to breath and slobber all over it. Devalued or not, he certainly would have been able to turn around and sell it on ebay afterwards and recoup some money, if not all.
Prices are volatile on ebay, I'm a little surprised this instance didn't sell for more, but then again I am not, because it's an obscure title. Given a little more promotion, the bling bling would have rolled in.

on the topic of this game getting dump and why it will probably never happen..1). there's less than 10 known. 2)of the ones known they came from the same place, at which the other copies available for sale were dystroyed when they didn't sell. 3) this game is useless without the lifefitness lifecycle, and there's not reason to make a rom for a game that won't run in an emulator.

Right and the people who own this game, 5 of them are brand new and sealed and will probably stay that way. That leaves you with very few chances (less than 5 others right now) to get the rom dumped.

I don't think we are arguing about it at all, we are DISCUSSING the topic. If you would like to discuss the issue of ROM dumping, I am sure there are many topics on this board about that. My intention was not to come off as an "elitist" or as a "know it all". Just stating my point of view. I just don't feel, given the current amount of this game in circulation, that it will ever be dumped. That is all.

Hey Darth, I consider myself a expert on Nintendo and this is the first time I've heard of a bike for the SNES -- or games for it!
Was it actually released? If so, when? How? And how many sold? Are these the only two games that work for it? How similar is to the Atari Puffer project?
Is there a website or anywhere with more information?
None of my game history books mention a SNES exercise bike, so I'm really eager to get more information. :D

That helps SOME, but it still leaves a lot of questions like who made it? When was it originaly released? How many were made or sold? And why have we never heard about it?
Was the starting price REALY $2000? If so, I think that explains why it bombed and why so few games were made for it.

you can buy parts for the bike, about 2 years ago someone bought the remainder of the cartridges and tv hookups and bottom rack bke hookup. Mary(lady there) wound't say the prices of what was paid but that someone ought out the stock they had, all they have left are a bunch of peices and random stuff that compatible with other bikes they have. oh well, someone doing their homework.
