Eh... I say shipping is about dead on.
That steering wheel is big and heavy. Everything else isn't exactly feather weight either.

Those steering wheels arent very heavy at all. Maybe 5lbs.
The entire package shouldn't cist much more than $15 to ship. Less if you're within a few states.

I have that wheel. I just weighed it and it comes in at 9 pounds.
Estimating that the entire package weighs 15-20lbs it will cost about $18-$20 to ship. But then you have to add the price of the bubble wrap and peanuts, and it should get pretty close.
The insurance is a crock though...it shouldn't cost more than $4.00
