I saw this on Ripley's Believe it or Not.

These 2 German guys put Pong and pain together. You play with a spinner and your other hand has to sit flat on the machine on a spedific spot. Apparently if you miss a ball you get pain by either a burning heat, electroshock, or a string which looks like a weed whacker repeatedly slaps your arm. Kind of makes me think of that James Bond scene in Never Say Never Again.

You can get cuts and bruises from this thing.

This was posted before, but like a year and a half ago when it was shown on a TechTV spot. Seems like Ripley is a little behind the times but it's all good.

Crazy stuff, huh? From the video they showed the people weren't really getting hurt but you could clearly see that it had a physical "effect" on them.

I want one for my game room. :evil:

I've heard that it actually does hurt, a LOT depending on the settings, it can draw blood and burn.

Wrong, we built that thing for David Hasselhoff, it didn't work, he's still around.

I resent these comments from fellow Europeans and Americans. I truly do! We Germans aren't masochistic, it's a strategy to take over the world. We built those devices in particular for the English, French, and Americans to weaken their spirits and make them crawl. I have to get me one of those things. :)

Heh. I don't mean any offense. It just plays off the odd stereotype that Germans are extremely hard core and impervious. Frankly, I would prefer that to being assumed a yellow bellied sissy or a lazy schmuck. ;-)

Yeah, I saw that thing a long time ago on Tech TV.

Call me old fashioned, but I'm happy with my painless method of playing videogames...for now anyways 8-)
