just when i think i have everything i have the good look to find something else. after a nearly empty handed sweep of the flea market i came up on table with fresh goods. at first i thought it was an answering machine or some sort of PC thing, then i saw the controller and i got all excited and thought it was one of those weird PC engine variations. actually it was a minty magnavox CD-I, the little gray one... :D finally a friend to hang out with my 3-D-O! it came with 8 games (ok 2 are educational) lets see theres a tennis thing, burn cycle, kingdom far reaches, 7th guest, kesser (?) and laser lords all for $25.

some of the games look ok but it mostly looks like those bad sega CD and 3-D-O point and click video adventures. what are the good games for this system, if any, i know the zelda titles are rarish but whats actually fun to play?

7th guest is actually quite good if you like the Myst style games, however I don't know how well it would control on the CD-I

I'll second 7th Guest as a good game. I had it on PC and got into it easier than Myst though.

From what I've heard, the plain old 'Zelda' (not Wand of Gamelon and Faces of Evil) is the good one. It's also the expensive one. I can't comment on the other two, because I'm still waiting for my CDI player from 'Fluke.

Hotel Mario is fun, BUT ONLY IF YOU HAVE A CD-I gamepad. I don't really like playing it with my remote.

maybe contact rbudrick, sold him a very large cdi collection......about 50+ games or something like that. anyways, he should know of a couple good items. although.......i'm pretty sure he said almost all the games were a disgrace, hard to even get through they were so horrible. sweet sweet find though. if nothing less, sell it on ebay........i really can't see owning one since i've heard such bad reviews from actual owners.

-MSI have like 35 games, and they mostly suck. I would check out the 4 games from Older Games/Good Deal games, because it's neat to see what could have been in the betas of games.
