i have a sega 32X system with power cord, but no genesis console or rf adapter to test it. if any of you have any of this stuff (and i know some of you do), then pm me or post here with a price, please.

You will also need the connecting cable that routes the Genesis video through the 32X, it's a mini din plug that's miraculously impossible to find on its own. My suggestion is to just get a complete 32X lot if you're serious about testing the original unit or just dump it on ebay as it is.

the only place i found that adaptor was sega-parts.com, and it took me like a year to find out that it needed that

i am pending a deal for a genesis console, rf, power, and a controller. but i am now looking for some games and the rf for the 32X and the "other cord" that i need (hopefully i can get one by itself).

Slipdeath, what was the part actually called on sega-parts.com, is it that $2.00 "conversion cable gen 1?" Just wondering cause I need a few of those.

If by "other cable" you mean the connector cable that runs from the AV OUT of the Genesis to the AV IN on the 32X, there are a few of those listed on Ebay for about $10.00. Some of them are actually combination cables that are already built for the original Genesis, so that you don't need the conversion cable at all: one end has the big DIN plug for the original Genesis' AV port, and the other end goes right to the AV IN on the 32X. (If you use the search words "32X connector cable" it'll take you right to 'em)
