NHL 2004 or NHL hitz pro?

NHL 2004 is getting better reviews, but I loved NHL Hitz last year. Although, they've went more sim on the title than past efforts.
I say if you like sim, get NHL 2004 - if you like arcade, get NHL Hitz.

Forget both of 'em and get ESPN Hockey.....unless you not a deep fan then get Hitz. :D

I agree... get ESPN, its a great game. I love the classic teams. I just finished editing the roster of every classic team and all players, I now have complete " named " rosters. It is really cool to hear the announcer say things like Goal by Kurri assisted by Gretzky. I love how the game knows the players names when you input them and the commentary incorporates it in game play.

I was disappointed in all of them this year. I was expecting too much from ESPN probably, and it is still the best of the three. Hockey games (on the modern systems) still have a long way to go, especially compared to the football games. But, hockey isn't an easy game to make realistic, there's so much going on, and to get good AI is very difficult. Oh well, someday I'm hoping that one of these companies comes out with something really surprising.
