I was able to find a Sega Game Gear at a Garage Sale over the weekend, and it came with the unit itself, two games and a rechargeable battery pack.
But no AC Adapter.
The battery pack is the one that is made by Sega. Model No. 2105. At the top of it, it has a cord coming out of it, that looks like the end that you would plug into a Model 2 Genesis. And then at the bottom, to the left of the On/Off switch is another strange little plug.
How do I power this thing up?
I've heard that you can use a Model 2 Genesis AC adapter with the Game Gear, is that true?
If so, how do I use the Model 2 Genesis AC adapter to power this puppy up? Do I plug it into the little thing to the left of the On/Off switch?
How long do I need to charge it for? Can you overcharge them and damage them?
How long does a charge typically last?
Thanks for any answers to this.
Also, if you would like, please list your 5 absolute must have Game Gear games. Thanks.
