Bad decision#1

Selling off my Sega CD, Sega 32X, Sega Genesis, and Super Nintendo to Funcoland for a few measly new PSX games.

Bad decision#2

Going the AES route instead of the MVS route when I was getting into the Neo-Geo. Now that I have played MVS games on a nice Candy Cab with RGB I will never be able to go back to the AES and it's high prices, pretty carts or not.

Bad decision #3

Buying a Chrono Trigger bare cart at Funcoland for $75 because I thought it was hard to find at the time. Just weeks later Final Fantasy Chronicles was released and prices for the SNES original shot down dramatically.

1. Selling my like new copy (I mean it if anyone knows how I keep my game) of Final Fantasy 3 SNES for $20, even today I'm still mourning the loss of this game.

2. Didn't get enough new Dreamcast games while my store was clearing them out like no tomorrow between 2000 and 2002.

When I was about 20 I decided I was done playing games, so I dragged my NES and about 50 games to the local pawn shop, where I promptly traded them for a car alarm. Today the NES is one of my smallest collections, just because everytime I see games I used to own I always groan.
