I just picked up a bunch of these subscriber only 2-disc set thingies. I've had a stack in the past, but now I have about 15 of 'em. Are these still being put out for the PS2? There's some nifty features on these things (besides from the usual so-called "Makin of's" that are blatantly ads) and I'd like more. The last issue I have is 4.2.

I've got all the PSX ones, I think they merged with PlayStation magazine and are part of their monthly demo disc. It may not be evident but as I recall there was some mailing or notice on one of the "underground" shipments about this. Maybe someone with a better memory can fill in the blanks.

I love the Playstation Underground discs in the day because you could play every game before it came out. I loved playing THPS2 before it hit the stores. By the way, they are a little hard to find. Mayber worth 3-5 bucks apiece.

They stopped making PS Underground discs after issue 5.2 and merged with Official Playstation Magazine. You got OPM for the remainder of your subscription if you were a current Underground subscriber.

I have everyone up to issue 5.1. Love them and won't sell them for love of money. Can anyone help me with the hidden stuff in issue 4.4 on

I think gamefaqs has all the codes, but I haven't checked in a while.

No in fact the lastest issue listed is 3.3 the same on other sites. I presonally tried to update gamewinners.com but it's been a year and so far they hadn't. So I am making this offer to anyone who is like me looking for codes they can't find. Just PM me with the issue and I'll PM you back with all of the codes for that issue.

Are any of the later issues PS2 stuff only or did they stick with PS one stuff for the entire run? I know OPM stuck with PS one demos for what seemed like forever.

I loved the PlayStation Underground. I looked forward to my issues each time.

I liked it when they spot lighted the Net Yaroze. It was cool seeing what people/groups had developed. One game that stands out in my mind was the paper airplane game. I thought it was original and fun. I would have loved to have seen this turn into a real PlayStation game.
