Ok, now that I've got MAME, I want side-scrolling beat-em-ups....all of 'em! :) So far, I've got TMNT, Simpsons, and Alien/Predator (all from this site of course!). What else do I need to have? I know of Vendetta, Crime Fighters, the Double Dragons, Undercover Cops, Final Fight (duh), and Golden Axe. Keep me going here!

Pass on Tough Turf. It sucks with a capital "S". Same goes for Ninja Clowns.
PuRiLuRa (sp?) is kind of cool... it doesn't have much depth but it makes up for it with weird sight gags!

Two excellent Capcom brawlers that often escape notice are Armored Warriors (aka Powered Gear) and Battle Circuit. Armored Warriors is the predecessor of Cyberbots, and it has great designs and some shooting levels, even if punching the same robots over and over gets a little old.
Battle Circuit, on the other hand, never gets dull. It's got a lot of special moves to purchase and experiment with, and the goofy atmosphere recalls Captain Commando. It's up there with Alien vs. Predator and Guardian Heroes as one of my favorite beat-'em-ups.

You ever heard of Violent Storm? I think it's the sequel to Vendetta, which is the sequel to Crime Fighters. It's a great beat-em-up, and I think the music kicks grand ass. 8-)

The Legend Of Silk Road
Sort of like Golden Axe. Its's a fairly new brawler as well....1999.

I just tried getting Violent Storm, but I can get MAME to recognize the ROM at all...I don't even see it on the game list anywhere! Is it not compatible with MAME 32? Thenks for the recomendations and please keep 'em coming!
