Retrogaming Roundtable in Tips & Tricks!

This is the second time our forum was mentioned in Tips & Tricks magazine. Sure, it's ME who's mentioning, but it's great to see. In the October 2002 issue, this forum is described as "an online convergence of hundreds of hardcore collectors who discuss exactly this kind of thing (in this example it was SNES rares) on a regular basis."

So. You're part of this convergence. You're HARDCORE! Bravo!

Also in this issue is our very first female "Room of Doom", it's our very own ACHIKA (now playing DP Survivor). We even squeezed 3 pictures in this time around.

Give it a look. This column is a lot of fun to put together and I believe very informative for the casual gamer/collector in very large part thanks to all of you here. Thank you once again!

You know, magazines are made a lot earlier than they are published. When I had my column, I wrote my stuff 3 months before it was published. So it only makes sense that Joe can talk about the December issue.

Speaking as a magazine editor, we're now finishing up our November issue and we have writers covering meetings that won't see print until Feb. 2003. And we're considered FAST because it's a medical publication. Most mags are indeed working on Dec./Jan. right now, but we need to be more "timely."

Half the time, I don't know what freakin' month it Iis.

Um, I DID mention the site. Read it again.

What's not there is the LINK, but if you type Retrogaming Roundtable into Google, it comes up first. We're pretty easy to find. I'm not sure why the link was dropped, quite honestly. In any event, it won't be the last time this forum is mentioned as the hotspot of activity - you'll see it again in the December issue.

I actually see Tips & Tricks magazine in more places than other gaming mags. I was in a place called "The Rag Shop" the other day and they had it at the counter. I wonder if it's a regional thing though, because I've heard others tell me that their local game shop doesn't carry it. It IS in every chain though, I can't help you if you don't have an EB or Gamestop near you. Tips & Tricks is the LEAST of YOUR worries.
