I saw Volfied in an arcade the other day, and it occurred to me that (at least before Tetris came around) there sure were a lot of Qix clones out there once.
Which one do you think was the most enjoyable? (No, not the pornographic ones.)

Xolyx (I think that's how it's spelled) for the C64 is tons of fun. It changes the play mechanics just slightly. You are not limited solely to the perimeter. You can roam freely in the captured area. The enemies kind of bounce around, too. I haven't played it in years, so I know I'm forgetting something. But it's very good.

Semi-related to this thread: Does any one know where I could get an English language version cartridge of Qix Adventure (for GameBoy Color)? It was released in Europe a year or two ago, and was suppsosed to come out in the US as well. As far as I can tell, the US version was cancelled. Anyway, if anyone in Europe has seen it around or has a spare copy, let me know :)
Oh, and as far as favorite Qix clone....Libble Rabble is alright. Cacoma Knight is OK too, but really easy.
