Was D&D Warriors of the Eternal Sun released for the Jpn

I am trying to find the Japanese version of D&D Warriors of the eternal Sun for the MegaDrive. Can anyone confirm its existence? The Genesis collective says the Japanese name is Arosohtrau. Are there any MegaDrive experts out there who can help?

I don't think it was released there. I did a lot of searching on Yahoo Japan, and didn't come up with much.

This guy was the only guy selling a copy... and it's under his Genesis stuff. So, that makes me believe that it probably didn't come out there. I'm sure that it would have come up in someone else's list if it made it there. You can also see the kanji name of the game in the title of his site.

The only other hits I get with that kanji are movies and comics.. So, I'd say there's about a 75-80% chance that it didn't come out there. But, that's the best I can do. I hope someone else can verify for you.

Taiou no Senshi (Warriors of the Sun) is the way he translates it. I've not seen on either, and there are quite a few Genesis games that either saw no Japanese release, or an extremely limited one.

I had heard it was released under a different name and without the D&D license. Could be just a rumoured game though.

I've had Japanese gamers buy the game (and the guide) from me in the past, which leads me to believe it wasn't released there.

It was released there. I can't get to it right now (Novell BorderManager's reporting a gateway time out ._.) but look at gametz.com's forums > Site_Feedback > my topic about Zelda no Densetsu. Second page I think.

Yep I read and posted in that post earlier. It doesn't seem to exist since Nihon can't find the proper Japanese name or find it on Yahoo Japan.

I'm pretty sure that if it existed there would be at least one instance of it coming up through a net search. I also don't get why Japanese people would be buying it off of Maxlords, or that GaijinPunch never saw it either.

Speaking of that thread, funny how I thought their listing was wrong, but at the end of the day it turned out that their correct listing was (still is as I write this) killing the proper listing for the FDS release of Zelda.

I'm not so knowledgeable on the MD. They require bigger packaging to ship, so I never liked locating them. I do like the system though, but I'm biased against games that take up space. :)
