Orta's an amazing shooter, difficult in the same rewarding, learn-or-die fashion as MUSHA, R-Type, and other old-school classics. It's one of the best releases of the year, and it's a steal at $10. I paid $50 for it in January, and to be honest, I don't regret it one bit.

Unfortunately, the game's nose-dive down the price range probably means that it didn't sell much. There'll be no Panzer Dragoon Saga sequel for us, I'm afraid.

Just picked up Baldur's Gate for this deal. Already had Skies.... paid $20 two months ago, thought I got a STEAL. Looks like I got took. LOL

Anyone notice that most of these Cube games that end up in the $9.99 bin are Sega titles? Not so much recently, but in the past few months, that seemed to be the trend. I guess it was only a matter of time before Skies dropped too.

Except for the sports titles, I think most of these will sell out before the deal is over. If you're even remotely thinking about getting any of these games, just get them! Free shipping - and you can always use the games as trade bait if you change your mind; most of them are well worth $10 in trade if not more.

Those assholes...I just checked the status of my order and it says backorder. If I pay for something that says in stock it better be in stock. And there is no way to cancel your order. :angry:

I noticed that Best Buy has taken Skies of Arcadia off of their online site completely. No "Sold Out," listing, no "Back-Order" listing, no nothing. Maybe they made a mistake listing that one for $9.99?? If you do a search, it'll bring up a link and a pic, but when you click the link... nuttin'.

Anyways, everybody, check your local stores! The deal is good there if they have the game in stock. Like I mentioned earlier, I got Skies of Arcadia and Baldur's Gate for 9.99 as advertised on their website. That really sucks for everyone who ordered it online, and now they pulled it off the site completely? It couldn't have been a mistake listing it at 9.99, because the stores have the same prices......

There is no Best Buy that I'll be near soon, but there is a Circuit City. I hear they'll price match, so I think I'll just get my PDO that way (I ordered SAL online and am going to wait).

I don't think anywhere will pricematch to anything online. I'm sure best buy will match to it's own site, but other places I doubt will accept a printout instead of an actual flyer.

OK, in a panic, I packed up the wife and headed out to Best Buy. She was saying she wanted a few of the games (like Skies).

Well, mostly - no luck.

They had Shinobi, but as part of a 6-pack of games for $30.

But, I did pick up SSX Tricky ($9), DOA 3 ($20), and a demo disc for a penny (XIII).

Now, I've got to admit - I forgot that Reloaded got released. So... I picked that up too.

Mission, um... Money spent... SUCCESS!

I stopped at a best buy on the way home and I snagged a copy of Panzer Orta for $10... but they didn't have any Skies of Arcadia.

If anyone wants the Panzer and has a copy of Skies of Arcadia, I'm up for a clean switch.
Are you only looking for SoA? I missed Panzer, and really wanted it, but I missed it online.

Best Buy always drops their prices weird like that. I had been eyeing up a couple NUON games at the local Best Buy, but wasn't going to pay $30.00 for them if I could help it. So I was waiting and I kept checking the Web site, and suddenly one day all the NUON games were dropped directly from $30.00 apiece...

To 99 cent!?! Honestly, what in the hell were they thinking? I was so surprised they would drop to like $20 or $10 first, but instead they went all the way to 99 cents...

Of course, I had just ordered them from another Web site by this time for $10.00 apiece :(
