I would go to a local game store about once a week when I was about eight years old or so, this being in 1995-1996. Every time I would go, I saw a strange black NES cart in the corner of the case. It had a sticker on it, "Airball". Gee, what could this possibly be? I asked to look at it one time, because it was so obscured. There were circuit boards showing on it, and a weird yellow label with "Airball" written on it. Was I gonna buy a busted up game? NO WAY!

So a year ago or so, I was browsing some NES proto's. And I see this:

HMM, looks a little familiar. :hmm: "Dreamtr's copy of Airball. Was purchased on Ebay for $700, later levels are not complete." I was a bit saddened by this discovery, but the sadness soon gave way to unprintable language. Is it the same cart? Dunno, there could be a couple more that are the same, but damn... damn. :D

I probably have a few more less severe stories, but I'd like to hear some of yours first. Heh.

Btw there is another thread about this already, but passing up on a proto must kill a little bit of you everyday.

Ack, I searched for a thread before I started this. Goddamn boolean searches... :o
