Never heard of it, saw it used last wkend. Looks intriguing. It's by DreamCatcher & based on a comic. Any good? Worth buying?
Also, how's Countdown: Vampires? Resident Evil in a casino- haven't heard much (good) about it...TRU had it awhile back for $40(!!!) but now it's half that.

I thought Hellboy was terrible. Poor control, bad graphics. I wasn't able to play much.
I liked Countdown Vampires back when it came out. An interesting game that's solid but doesn't particularly stand out in any one area.

I was looking into the game as well seeing as how it was only 10 bucks new, but every review and piece of information I read for it made it clear that it was a turd not even worthy of that amount. Even an FAQ I read started out with something like 'unless you're a very die-hard fan you're going to be disappointed.' Personally I'd skip on it, no matter how cool a character he is. If a game's ass, it's ass regardless of how cool of a franchise it's based upon.

If you just want the game to add to your library, pick it up asap. If you're looking to be entertained, stick with the comic.
Hellboy comic = awesome.
Hellboy game = bad.

If you are collecting Playstation1 then pick up a couple of copies. It is a hard game to find. I've only seen it at GameStop and then only 1 or 2 copies.
If you just want to play it, just set it back down and run like----

Rake Yohn, sad as this may be to say, is one of my personal heroes. i even dislike the two things he dislikes most... mustard, and a substance i'd rather not mention. <total inside joke>
Scoots- thanks for the good review, but I'm still torn. There seems to be a lot wrong w/ the game, but 7/10 is worth a look to me, despite the other opinions here. I'll check it out; if it sucks y'all can say "I told you so!"
