Hey gang,

Well, I have my eye on a full-sized stand-up arcade machine here in my hometown, so I'm looking to part with my pride-n-joy to buy it. Up for grabs is my Vecrex system with the works. Included are:

* Vectrex system with joystick. Joystick is reconditioned with a replacement label, but works OK. One of the buttons is tighter that the rest and needs to be pressed hard. System is a 7 or 8 looks-wise (cabinet scuffed in places, but no real damage) and works juuuuuust fine. Been played with by yours truly for years.

* Sean Kelly's Vectrex multicart. (http://home.xnet.com/~skelly/vmulti.htm) <Click to see> Sean's cart is an "instant Vectrex collection" in one cart. 61 games - the entire Veccy library, as well as a ton of the recently homebrewed games. The cart is menu-driven, so just turn on the system, choose your favorite game, and it's running. Great way to get all the games at once.

* John Dondzilla's Vecmania homebrew cart. (http://www.classicgamecreations.com/vecmania-main.html) <Click to see> And here's another multicart to toss into the mix. This great cart contains 8 Dondzilla homebrews, including Repulse, Star Fire Spirits and Rockaroids. These games are also found on the kelly multicart, but it's great to have the original!

* John Dondzilla's Vectrex/Genesis controller (http://www.classicgamecreations.com/controllers.html) <Click to see> I was tired of fighting with the awkward Vectrex stick, so I picked up one of these. The controller - a reprogrammed Sega Genesis controller - fits comfortably in your hands and is a better way to play the Veccy, in my opinion.

Well, I'm looking for $180 firm for this package, but I'll foot the shipping (which will be substantial considering the weight and fragility of this thing). If interested, PM me or e-mail me. Paypal preferred and will immediately ship when paid. No trades or counteroffers please. Looking to buy the arcade machine discussed above, so $$$ is needed.

Thanks for looking!

Just out of curiosity, which game is it that you plan to buy?

Actually, it's two. One is a fave from my childhood - Targ (http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=T&game_id=10034) - and the other is Alpine Ski (http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=A&game_id=6871). Both in excellent shape. Meant to pick them up some time ago, but needed the saved money for other projects.

The same place also has P.O.W. Prisoners of War (http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=P&game_id=8951) and some baseball game (I never paid attention to which one). However, they're asking $250 for each of those. Whoof, they're not in THAT good of condition!

Anywho, now you know.

If I had any extra money...I'll wait and see if it sells, if not and I have enough money then I might do it.

Heh, I know! And your pictures are much better than the condition this bastard's in. But the other ones are very nice. And cheap. :D And it's TARG, man! I played the piss out of this game. Doubted it even existed until I saw it in the flea.

As for "wish I had picked it up" stories, I once saw a Venture cabinet, workin' fine, beautiful condition, for sale at a local flea. Walked by it because I "didn't have the room." Mulled it over for 2 hours, then thought "what the hell," went back, and it was already sold and gone. Went for....ugh....$75. I still kick myself in the ass for that blunder.
