Before anyone says this belongs in the Buying and Selling section, hear me out....

I recently acquired a second copy of this game (see this week's finds thread), and I may be interested in getting rid of one. HOWEVER, I have a question: I know that this game is impossible to find in America since it was never released here, and I know its even tough to find in Europe, but what is a realistic value of this game? Is it sought after? I know I spent quite a while looking for my first copy, and I kind of lucked into the second one. I hardly even see this game on eBay.

For those who haven't heard of this game, it only came out in Europe (and I also believe there is a Japanese Famicom version). It's a great overhead action game from HAL Laboratory and doesn't even remotely resemble the Activision NES Ghostbusters we got in America. It is similar to the Ghostbusters 2 released for the Game Boy in the U.S., but they're different games. Here are some screenshots for those interested:

That's a good game, beats the hell out of the Activision one!

Hows the compatibility with a NTSC NES for this game? (with the lockout chip disabled, obviously)

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that Raccoon Lad.....

Game works fine on an NTSC NES. I have not seen any kind of compatibly issue at all. I use a top-loading NES, which doesn't have lock out chips, but if you have a toaster system, then yes, all the lockout chips must be disabled.

I still want a port of the kick ass arcade game...I love that one....

Really, I thought the arcade game wasn't all that great. ...and the ending just plain sucked; you get rid of all the ghosts, and it just shows the same scene as the beginning of the game, but instead of pulling up to the building, you're driving away.

and It was ported, but not to any consoles, though.

Is that NES game like the overhead Game Boy Ghostbusters 2?

Yup, it's like the overhead Game Boy one. I think it may be based on the same engine, but the levels are totally different between the two games.
