Where to get some new 72 PIN NES CONNECTORS

I am in need of about 7 new 72 PIN NES CONNECTORS. I know that's alot, but all the NES that I own have the blinking. Please someone tell me where I can find these!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ive been looking for them too.i need a even larger amount i cant even find a wholesaler with them.cheapest price on ebay is about $7 i think

MCM charged me almost $8 shipping this $7 connector.. blah! :x

Also, even after replacement most of my carts don't work without some fiddling and praying to get em to work.

Was I the only one to fix the problem by bending the connector pins
so they made a tighter fit with the cartridge.

Cost nothing and is still working after a year.

I tried several times to bent the connector pins, but i never got it to work, because i couldn't reach the pin connector.

Try taking the carts apart and cleaning them real good. It will make a world of diffrence. As far as MCM goes, buying in volume really reduces the shipping per item.

Nope.

I've not yet met a blinker that could not have it's 72pin refurbished, as opposed to replaced. I've done 12 and counting, some of them could ONLY blink.

You MUST disassemble the unit. Period.

REMOVE the 72 pin.

I use metal cleaner (brasso) and a toothbrush on the contacts vigorously. Then I use alcohol and a toothbrush to get rid of the pasty brasso. Then I use tap water and the toothbrush to remove all residue.

Then I take my needlenose pliers and gently but firmly bend the entire contact area back up into a much firmer position.

Then I dry the pin in a fan, until it is bone dry.

Re-assemble and enjoy. Always works, and I've done some ratty NES's. I'm doing it for $15 bucks a pop for a local used game shop now.

Will it blink again? No doubt, but mine was done 6 months ago and still no blink...unless of course I put a newly acquired cart staright into the machine (DON'T!). All carts are dirty!! Old and dirty. Clean 'em. By putting only cleaned carts into my deck, I'm sure I'm prolonging the time before I need to refurb again.

I 'think' use of Game genie's are likely to make it blink again sooner..just a theory..I haven't researched it for sure.

i tried that also but i just ended up messing the thing up even more. now i found out a way that makes them work pefect and have done it amny times, what i did was filled up a jar lager than the connector with about 3/4 very hot water and the place many different types of solutions in it. what i used was -simple green,proxcide,wd40(very small amount),rubbing alcohol, it works great i did this to my nes about 2 years ago and since then i have gotten it to work almost every time with no cleaning of the system. it works dont buy a new connector.

Man, this is OLD. Since I posted here last I switched to new pins from MCM, and then switched back to refurbing old pins again. LOL
