That's an odvious reason, but maybe there are others. I used to use Retrocade because I got it first and it ran better on my computer (I think MAME was at version .3x then.)

I also used NeoRageX (before my system crashed :() because it ran way better on my machine than MAME did for Neo stuff. Problem is I lost a lot of the roms that were compiled for that emu so, I haven't tried to get it back up.

Just wondering what anyone else is using and how's it going?

Is a nice one as well, although it seems the newer port is a little buggier than the older ones I used to use. Nonetheless, you may find you don't need a high end machine to play some great classics...like Chase H.Q.! It emulates quite a few games and has a pretty sweet interface.

I'm using Vantage, and it seems to work great. Especially with the screen rotation code. I'm planning to use it with the Cocktail cabinet I'll be building sometime in the future.

Chase HQ! Whoohoo! I am sooo there! (Though the MAME emulation of this game has gotten a lot better.)
