Sphinx Demo Disc

I don't know if that's old news, but just in case you missed it...I picked up two weeks ago a free demo disc for the upcoming "Sphinx" at Best Buy, two levels are playable. Probably they still have it.

Impression: pretty good, intelligent puzzle solving required, in particular the play with the Mummy was very original and funny, actually pretty innovative. Weakness: the control is touchy, accurate jumping wasn't the easiest thing in the world, maybe (hopefully) they correct it when the game comes out.

This sounds like the one that was in the official PS mag a couple of months ago. I had a similar impression, though I think more highly of the potential then the execution so far. Found that some parts needed too much running back and forth ad-nausuem (like the fire jumping part for the mummy), and in each level, I seemed to get myself into a dead end before I gave it up both times. At least it was interesting enough while it worked.
