My most embarassing game is my boxed & shrink-wrapped copy of Custer's Revenge for the Atari 2600. Won it as a doorprize at CGE2K2. For personal religious reasons I do not display it and will only pull it out to show the occasional guest that I know will not freak out about the thing. There's also something about that pink-colored box that just conjures - in my mind - visions of hot tubs and wall-to-wall carpeting. If a guest is still curious about the thing I'll pull up the ROM on Stella and that's usually the end of it :embarrassed: .

What's so embarassing about Kirby? o_O Sure, he's pink and pretty cute, but it's basically a family game designed for anyone.

I have no shame. o_O I am proud to share with others that I very happily own two Choaniki games (the Super Famicom figher and the PS2 shooter), and I fully intend to buy more whenever I can.

I also love dating sims (hentai or not). Now that I think about it, it's odd that my boyfriend's family is so accepting of the fact that I play dating sims (not the ones designed for girls, just the standard ones). They've never once questioned my sexuality or anything. O_o But then again, I only play Japanese dating sims, so for the most part, they have no clue what's going on in the game.

And of course, I have a whole slew of crap. Tons of cheesy NES games, lots of Sega CD FMV games, two different versions of Bram Stoker's Dracula, Home Alone, Shaq Fu, both Quest games (Quest 64 and Brian's Journey), Xena, War Gods, and that's just the beginning... O_O

I've owned Cho Aniki games on various systems like the 2 PCE ones, Saturn, and PSX version. I also owned Steam Hearts on the Saturn at one time.

If you like dating games maybe you should try Angelique or something. Not that I'm an expert on dating games lor anything.

I've also owned many bad shooters like Legion, Terra Cresta 3D, Skull Fang, Planet Joker, Death Crimson.

I own Sesame Street ABC as well as Sesame Street 123. I have no shame in those.
However, my brother and I were both youngins once and we never sell our games. As a result, I have some embarrassing PC games like several Freddi Fish games, and some Putt-Putt, and Pajama Sam. They just collect dust in the PC game rack until some of my cousins want to take them.

Funny thing my sisters friends came over and she showed them this game in particular. They played it for a while and enjoyed it. Its pretty good IMO.

I'm amazed that I haven't posted in this topic yet...I catch hell for owning these three games all the time.

PSOne:

Mary Kate & Ashley Magical Mystery Mall (Hey, you can make them dance to any CD you have...putting in Slayer makes for some laughs)

Barbie Race & Ride (Horse games are fun)

Hello Kitty Cube Frenzy (Fun Puzzle Action)

People also look at me weird when I tell them I have Hooters Road Trip and Easter Bunny Saves the Day.

There are few I'm embarassed to own, but plenty that other people give me shit about:

Genesis Shaq-Fu
The king of bad game ideas.

SNES Michael Jordan Chaos in the Windy City
Close second. Title isn't as catchy as Shaq-Fu though.

Sega CD Make My Video: Kris Kross
The daddy mac will make ya...JUMP! JUMP!

Neo Geo Baseball Stars Professional
I don't even own an AES. Couldn't pass this up for $25 on Ebay though.

PS2 Madden 2001
OMG WHY DO YOU HAVE MADDEN IT IS THE DEVILLLLLLL

PS2 Dance Dance Revolution Extreme
lol its the ghey dancing game lolz.

GBC Extreme Sports With the Berenstain Bears
Because nothing says sick tricks and mad air like the Berenstains.

I'd say, humorously enough, that the most embarassing game in my collection is also my favorite. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I say Pop'n Music is the most embarassing, because when people that don't play video games see it, it's pretty difficult to explain the huge colorful buttons and the cute box art while maintaining their opinion of your mental health.

Say, got yerself a Night Trap? Just curious.

No, no Night Trap. Not yet. Kinda surprising that the store I got all the others from didn't have it, actually. o_O They had just about every other well-known cheesy FMV game on Sega CD.

If you like dating games maybe you should try Angelique or something. Not that I'm an expert on dating games lor anything.

I have wanted to try Angelique, but boy are some of them pricey. I guess that's what happens when a series really catches on in Japan. :/ Although, it almost seems kind of pointless. The guys are so bishounen and lovey-dovey that they may as well be chicks. O_o

I also know of versions of Tokimeki Memorial for girls and various shounen ai games, but some of those are a little freaky. Not that Choaniki is any better, but I don't know if I'm ready to enter that sub-culture just yet. o_O

I've had the Saturn and PC-FX ones and none of them ran me more than $15.00. With how many different systems it's been on I imagine a few of them are decently priced. Plus I never really made much of an effort to get them to begin with.

Revolution X for PSX even though its crappyness is mildly entertainingI have both the Big Box PSX version and the SNES version. I played through it a bit on the PSX and it was pretty good.. in a way. I wouldn't be embarrassed about it though. I mean, it's Aerosmith!

Space Channel 5 for the DC and PS2
dance dance revolution for PS1 and x-box
DoA:extreme beach vollyball

While I enjoy all the games above, for some reason my family is creeped out by them. Ok, so maybe the sight of a 350lbs man playing DDR on a dance pad is disturbing. But SC5?

What's so bad about that? At least they're games about Disney cartoons that were actually good. Back before Disney started spewing out sequel after sequel after teenage chick flick after sequel after sequel.

Personally, I think all the Capcom and Virgin Disney games were by far some of the best and most fun licensed games of the time. I'd be proud to have all of them boxed and on display for any and all systems.

Pokemon Channel for the Cube...

Actually the kids love to watch me move Pikachu around and just buy crap from Shop n Squirtle all the time. Still trying to get that last Pokemon Mini game. But those things hardly ever appear. We also have managed to snag just about ever card type you can get for every pokemon known in the game. Except one...Latias...she is such a tease....hehe

No one should list Disney games because a lot of them were made by Capcom and Konami and are great. The real games to be embarrased of are :
Spice World(esp if you have used the nude cheat)
Elmo's Letter Adventure
Teletubbies
Any Mary Kate and Ashley game
The Charlie's Angels game

Also Fuyukaze keep up the DDR it beats the hell out of Richard Simmons' tapes

Konami? You mean Virgin? What Disney games did Konami make?

Spice World(esp if you have used the nude cheat)The one for the PSX? I bought that soley for the fact it was unique and stupid. I'm not embarrased by it. Hell, now that I know about the Nude Cheat, I have a reason to show it off. People would get a kick out of that. LOL

Well Konami didnt seem to make an Disiney games. :embarrassed:
I looked through my Nes and Snes master lists and it wasnt a Konami Disney game on them atleast. I MADE THAT MISTAKE AND I PRATICALY WORSHIP KONAMI !
I guess super deformed girls naked and really bad music could be funny in a weird disturbing way. I so happened to read it a long time ago. I will not find the magizine for you because that wold just be a waste of time.... it only makes them nude on a certain screen not during gameplay ... why do I remeber so much.

Crappy game? Hmm..

Well...considering I have the complete PSX Library...that means I own every PS Version of Mary Kate and Ashley, Barbie, Army Men game, etc. I'm proud of them though. :)

Come to think of it, I really can't think of anything I consider truly embarrasing that's in my collection....since I can find something positive (even if it's making fun of it) about a game.

Yoshi's Story on N64. I loved the original Yoshi's Island, but the N64 one sucked. Those gay babyish voices, and that whole "The Yoshis must stay super happy in their super happy story book" was so retarded. However, I admit that I own this game. I'm sure most collector's here own it too, but all of my friends wouldn't touch it with a 10ft pole.

Let's just say that my PC game collection is something that I can't show the average person...since a lot of them are Japanese Bishoujo (read: hentai) games...But the bright colors on the DVD cases make people want to look at them...and the back covers then make thier eyes bug out for a few seconds.

Then, I have to "explain (justifty?)" why I have them...

I periodically get looks from people when I play Sailormoon: Another Story.

I'd guess the only ones I can be embarassed about are the more childish titles. I'm not talking Micro Machines Racer or Aladin, rather things like The Little Mermaid. I guess some others could be just plain horrible titles I bought to just see what they were. I don't really recall too many off my mind, but I know they're there...

Barbie for the Genesis... and worse yet, I actually enjoy playing it... painting Barbie up like a drag queen, driving her over to Ken's house, and raping his ass with a strap-on dildo... OK, so that last part isn't actually possible in the game, but I enjoy pretending that's what happens whenever I play it... HEHE

Crystal's Pony Tale... another Genesis game for girls... and it's as gay for a guy to own it as it is for a guy to own Barbie... but at least you can pass it off as being trippy, and explain that's why it's in your collection... you can't do that with Barbie... everyone will know you're gay if you own Barbie, and you're not a girl... a guy who owns Barbie silently screams that he's gay...

Thomas the Tank Engine... not another Genesis game for girls, but not for adults... it's basically just a video Thomas train set... which is why I bought it... I love to drive Thomas around on all the onscreen tracks, and imagine myself driving him all over my house on the actual wooden tracks, with all the accessories... but obviously, the video version is far more affordable, takes up far lass space, and is far less difficult to explain to visitors of my home...

I haven't succumbed to Waldo, or any of the Sega Club games like Sesame Street, Barney, Berenstain Bears, Bonkers, or Busytown yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if I end up hopping on the Magic Schoolbus and snatching up the rest of the most embarrasing Genesis games for any adult owned collection... I already own Ecco Jr and Wacky Worlds, but those two don't seem too bad to admit to owning... it's just a simple Ecco game and a Sonic art game... nothing as hard to explain as obvious edutainment for kids, when you have none, and that Barbie game you also own which tells everyone you're gay!

I have no shame. I am embarrassed at nothing. In fact, I rather enjoy collecting the 'worst' games..and playing them! Just for laughs :)

I think my only video-game embarrassment would be telling people I don't like Mario games. Hate the character, and I suck at playing them :P

With that being said, I've also never liked: Metal Gear Solid, ANY Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Resident Evil or most of the other supposed 'best' games out there...

Man, I forgot that I started this thread many years ago.

Since then, I would say that Sexy Mahjong Party for the Japanese PS2 is the one that I wouldn't tell anybody I own now. Winning the mini-games unlocks pictures of Japanese swimsuit models in provocative poses.

No, I don't have an Asian fetish...at least, I don't think I do.

My girlfriend wanted me to buy The Little Mermaid for the DS at Circuit City after she discovered that she liked the touch screen. I just told her to shut up and hold the stack of clearance games I was carrying...
