The Game Genie does f*** up your system.
I was using my Game Genie (w/ the plastic tabs cut out) to play my Super Famicom import games. Now, the two games I was trying to play (Hebereke Puzzle game and Terranigma), both are screwed up. Terranigma makes the game go black and you keep gaining levels. Hebereke's puzzle segments either freeze or are all jumbled up. I decided to try the games in my SNES with the tabs cut out, and I get the same effects. And they say the GG's effects are temporary... But it just may be the system that's doing it. Any suggestions to make them work properly again?
