Today I went to gamestop and found Ken Griffey: Winning Run for $2.99.
The reason I bought this game because it had NOT FOR RESALE DEMO ONLY on the sticker that folds over top. It also said NOT FOR RESALE on the front part of the sticker. I would like to know if this "version" (demo) is worth anything. Please post if you know the price, thanks! :D

As far as I know, the only difference is that the label is different. The game is exactly the same in every respect. Although, the Stunt Race FX demo apparently uses a different chip...

It has been my experience that that demo version is more common that complete game itself.
When I worked at funco, we had about 10 copies, more than half which were the demo. I wouldn't have paid much more for it, but you might be able to do some smooth selling to a newbie on eBay.

There are several of these Not For Resale carts. They used to go in the kiosks for the retail stores. Eventually, Nintendo started to give them away in contests (I know because I won a Not for Resale NCAA Basketball by finding 3 Super power cards int his contest they ran for like a year or so.) Later, FuncoLand purchased them ALL bulk from Nintendo, now they are just floating around I guess.

I bought a couple of these at GameStop about a year ago. Exact same game as the retail version. I sold one on eBay for $26.00.

The games are in fact slightly different in the boards and ROM chips used. At least that has been my experience from the few that I've opened up and compared to the official releases. But the games are identical in game play.
