View Full Version : Should Gamecube make Super Mario Rpg2?

The first one was awsome and i was thinking if they should make another one for gamecube? Considering the first one was a big hit and still is in high-Demand, I think #2 should be made! Post your thoughts on this remake or other Oldies that should be remade! :D

I would love to see a "Super Mario RPG 3" (Paper Mario being Super Mario RPG 2) put out on GameCube, along with any classic Video Game being remade/sequel. I know we all can count on seeing "Mega Man X: Command Mission" the first ever Mega Man RPG that will feature Mega Man, X, Zero, and many more next year. :D :rocker:

Nope, they shouldn't! As much as I loved the first Super mario RPG, Nintendo should not put fire on it's "retro-gamer-" and "kid"-image which has limited appeal and hurt N in the marketplace. As long as N has deficits in their game library, they have to focus on to eliminate these deficits.
Such a new game would be gerat if N were the market leader and had a balanced game library; but in the current situation it would be a big mistake.

They are making an SMRPG 3, and it's for the Game Boy Advance. It's known as Mario & Luigi. It seems enterprising, to say the least. :hmm:

I suggested on another board that Nintendo should make another Punch Out on the Gamecube. Why haven't they done so yet? I think it's a great idea. They should bring back Pizza Pasta. :rocker:

May I take this space to say "The. Hell." Topic title reminds me of "Should the XBOX made a handheald [sic]." Anyhow, I think a Super Mario RPG 2 would be great dandy fun...as long as Square Enix comes along for the ride, that is.

If you guys like the "Punch-Out" style games, then you have to play a Cel-Shaded game called "Black and Bruised" for the PS2, GBA, and Gamecube. I love this game so much, "Black and Bruised" is one of the closest games to "Punch-Out" on the Gamecube. :D

There is no reason for an MvC3. The only thing that could possibly be done is have more characters added, because the game system is as good as it could possibly get. Sides, Capcom seems to have no plans for a new MvC, for even though 2 did well in the US, it wasn't so hot overseas.

Heh, I was thinking the same. If the Gamecube starts making it's own games, would they change the ad campaign to "It's thinking"?
