View Full Version : "XIII" Demo Disc at Best Buy

I hope this isn't old news; when I looked today at Best Buy for the Rebel Strike demo disc (which they didn't have) I picked up a "XIII" demo disc which was priced $5 but actually cost one cent.
Too bad that I couldn't find for months now one cent-strategy guides at Best Buy.

Yep, in particular if they are only ONE cent. :)
BTW, I see for months now this GC demo disc for $40! Who in the world would pay $40 for a demo disc? What's on there?How can this price be justified for a mere demo disc?

I got the Demo at Eb for free. Pretty good game. Wonder hows its going to play online

That's bugged the hell out of me too. I keep seeing less and less of them every time I'm there, so someone's buying them, obviously. Unknowing parents, I suppose.
Funny thing is you can buy it at all other stores that sell games for $9.99 or less.

I just picked up 2 "Sonic Adventure DX Director's Cut" guides for .01 each. Only 1 of them was marked correctly.

When you say "marked correctly", do you mean it said $14.99, but it rang up as $.01?

Yep, that's exactly it.
I always stare at the manuals trying to figure out which ones might only be .01, but I never feel like lugging them to the other end of the store where the checkout is.

Well, they didn't have any demo discs for XIII, but I did manage to score 11 strategy guides for 4 different games.
Ebay here I come!
