I found an atari 2600 lot at the local flea market...comes with 4 controllers and 2 systems, one with the end of the rf cable ripped off. But what it does come with is about 60games, I'd say twenty are mint in box with instructions, 10 are NIB another 10 have boxes and the rest are look...It also comes with a game holding case...the games themselves aren't very rare, but the mint ones, are extremely mint...the guy wants 75 dollars...Should i go for it?

A lot depends on which games. Offer $50 and see if he'll go for it.

Its really your call. Go for what CueWarrior said and offer 50, then go to 60 at most. If there are any that are good trade bait then i would get it.

A busted RF end is an easy fix. get another RF cable, disassemble, unplug the old, plug in the new, re-assemble. done!

Its not bad, $1 a game for boxed and complete games plus you get a system for $15.

not a real good deal, but not the worst if you want it.

I bought it for 60 dollars...the games are mostly common but a few uncommon, almost all I didn't have yet so thats a bonus...the one without the was easily fixed, 75cents for an RCA solderless end that I could attach within 2 minutes (I've done this a lot) and both systems work flawlessly...only problem was there was no switch box, so if I want to resell them ( I already have 2 2600s) i'll have to get some. Overall, i am pleased that I went ahead and did it...even if I sell the remaining games and controllers (quite a few) with both systems for 10 bucks, I'll be happy. Speaking of which, anyone need a 2600 with a dozen games. System works great and Im going to thoroughly clean it too.
