I just saw a commercial from Toys R Us and verified it from their website, if you buy two gamecube games between 39.99 and 49.99, you get a third game free. :D Lasts for this week only.

Hmm...problem is that while there's one game in each of those categories that I want, there aren't three together that I either want or don't already have. Some of those prices aren't very good, either - Ikaruga can be had from Best Buy for $20 (instead of TRU's $40) and Skies of Arcadia can be had from BB for $10 (except they ran out of stock).

Looks like it's only available from the website, too.

Well I did hear about on TV and they made it sound like it was in store. Has anyone tried it yet?

Hmm...details on the website said that you had to order online. Maybe I'll visit a store and see if they actually have some stuff I want. It's doubtful, though...I don't think there are that many good games for the GCN. The ones that are good are golden, but...

although the title of the topic didn't let you know that Arcadia was going for that price...but it was in the message.

I don't see Skies of Arcadia at Bestbuy.com now...I ordered it at that price and right now it's sitting in my account, back-ordered (I think a lot of people cashed in on that deal).

Stopped in at the TRU to get the Hokey Pokey and Limbo Elmos for my daughter and I thought I'd check out this deal.

They had signs all over the place "Buy 2 gamecube titles get one free.....must be of or less than value of purchased games" Of course the shelves were nearly empty except for some sponge bob and Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen titles. I didn't see anything that limited it to games over 39.99, it appeared that any GC title qualified, you just have to pay for the 2 most expensive ones and get the third one free.

also talked the clerk into giving me one of the pre-order TMNT shirts since they only had one pre-order....and a ton of shirts. i dunno if he was queer or not but he gave me a shirt so i really dont care. now i'm gonna take starfox back to kmart and look for waverace......and enjoy VJ at the same time. i spent a ton on GC games in the past week......go nintendo!!!

edit: anybody played PN.03? it looks cool in the videos.....but the girl is kinda hot so it might blur the whole picture for me LOL

Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! Return it now. The demo was absolutely horrid. Played it for two minutes and got sick. The controls are clunky as hell and the gameplay is boring. Don't taint your Gamecube with this junk.

Anyway, I stopped there today and picked up Simpson's Hit and Run, Wario World, and Billy Hatcher...then I got to work and picked up my reserved copies of Rebel Strike and Castlevania. Too many games x_x :D

nooooooo is right, it looked so good in the video.....that i opened it :angry: ........o well......maybe i'll let it. you never know, but i imagine i won't. but i can always ebay it and get something else. something GC exclusive as that's all i really care for......unless it's cheaper.

my reason for that is......if i like the game i can talk it up amongst my friends and make them want a GC :D
