Yo, what's happening everybody? I have some incredible new info on "Mario Kart Double Dash" to be released on 11/18/03. When you preorder "Mario Kart DD" you will recieve a free bonus disk that is jam packed with extras that include:
-5 mini games from Mario Party 5
-F-Zero playable demo featuring Captain Falcon
-Fire Emblem content that includes unlockable weapons, abilities and new music (requires Game Boy Advance, Fire Emblem game and GBA/GC Link Cable to unlock features)
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles playable demo featuring Leonardo
-Star Wars Rebel Strike III Hoth level playable demo
-Sonic Heroes playable demo featuring 2 levels and 3 characters and 7 all new movies.

This is such an awesome deal, I can't wait for "Mario Kart DD". I know my
work (GameStop) will be getting these bonus disks in and I am pretty sure EB games too. :D :rocker: :D :rocker:

DO Not pre-order this at Best Buy. They will nto give you the pre-order disc till you pick up the game. Pissed me off to find this out. Usually I pre-order at gamestop but I am gonna try to use a gamer card coupon to get it cheaper. Just be warned

My favorite pre-order (and I never pre-order anything) is the Deus Ex: Invisible War t-shirt. I'm loving that shirt :)

All those games are demos - not full games. I want complete games; then I'll think about pre-ordering.

The reason for this is because the pre-order disc is going to be packaged in with Mario Kart, according to MarioKart.com (http://www.mariokart.com). Sort of like a pre-order only Limited Edition, I guess.

Looks like Nintendo wasn't too pleased with some retailers selling the Zelda pre-order disc by itself.

WTF???? the zelda disc was not packaged with Zelda:WW???? it was a pack-in disc (in a box like the RE one) here in germany

Yeah, it was like all the other US bonus discs... get it before the game comes out and then use the receipt you got when buying it to get money off the actual game.

Whereas the Europe "bonus" discs have only come when the actual game is released. Daft I know...

Indeed, the pre-order packaging will include the bonus preview disc within the case, while the post-release packaging will not include it.

Anyway, that's the information I got at work a couple of weeks ago.

I don't like to buy games when they're brand new anymore. So I never get these cool extras.

I pre-ordered that Midway compilation Xbox game coming next month and I said "Too bad there aren't any cool give-aways for this game." So we spent 5 minutes trying to find a cool freebie to give me.

I now have a Spy Hunter 2 Motorcycle.

If my brother didn't already have "The Hobbit" in paperback, I coulda taken that one.

Why was there no Halo 2 Freebie when I pre-ordered that way back last September? (2002) :(

Would be nice if there was a way to dial up someones GCN and play like that. I mean free. With the only charges being the phone bill. Like back in the DOOM days. I don't have 2 GCN's let alone 8 to network. Maybe one day I'll have two, but for now, it's split screen for me and my brother.

Dude, don't jump the gun so soon next time. Wait until they've announced a launch date at least :)

I just hope they start offering decent bonus discs all the time. It will definitely make me more likely to preorder.
