ive been trying to organize the gameroom some the last couple of days... unfortunetely it's really small- so i dont have a lot of room to move. there is no longer a bed in here, so i dont really have a place to sleep now. a tip to anyone unpacking stuff into room: make sure room is big enough for stuff (including future expansion), and doesn't have a slanted ceiling if you want to hang shelves.
another tip: paint the room BEFORE putting up shelves.

sorry you cant really pick out any of the stuff i have in here, but the room is so small, and my digital camera doesnt have a mega-wide-zoom lens. ...you cant even see the pile of SMS junk in the closet.
ive got about 95% of stuff unpacked right now, and about 90% of it is in this room.
pretty bad huh? :o
DONT MAKE THESE MISTAKES! LOL

<whistles appreciatively>

My only comment/concern from personal experience using that type of shevling - Make sure you drill into studs, AND that those studs are in good shape. That wall of games you have is like hanging a car on a couple 2*4's :)

The studs I drilled into for my former shelving were'nt up for the job to say the least

yip! i got em on 16"OC studs, so all should be cool- there are tons of screws holding the brackets. hopefully i'll be moving this crap into a bigger room in the next year or so

Still looks impressive, Will! Nice job.

Have we done your room in Tips & Tricks yet? If not, do you have bigger/better resolution versions of these photos? E-mail me when you have a moment.

I tried telling him he could store any future purchases at my place, or that I'd take those Adventurevisions off his hands for storage, but he didn't see the sensibility of it. So, now he's stuck packing all those up and taking down the shelves & rehanging them in the our future home on his own ;)

A damn lot of games. Wish I had that much space to display mine X_x LOL

//note to self... more room, less crates!

That's partly the problem I can't take pics for Room of Doom... hardly anything I have is on display, it's all crated, boxed and stored away to conserve room...

I have one "Billy" bookshelf from Ikea with an extra shelf and 3 CD inserts(384 cds), and glass doors to keep dust out.

Works very well.

A Billy shelf with the top-extender and maximum amount of CD inserts(7) can swallow 896 jewel case games!!!!
