Shows a picture of the box, yet says it is cart only. Probably inspired from how high my auction went a month or so ago. :D

 This auction has two of my most hated seller actions. 1) Showing a picture of the box when it's cart only (although I force myself to read every auction thoroughly regardless)   2) Linking to a past auction to show "how much it's worth" or stating "the estimated value of this auction is..."

You just want to kill him when he "estimates" the value himself by showing a bidding war gone insane.

This is great, here's another auction. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3053875393&category=27230) 100$ BIN.

Yeah, I was giggling alright, there was practically a fistful of these at the flea I frequent at one point.

Nah, I let the others go and they were gone a few weeks later. I only skim from the fat a little to subsidize my own hobby purchases, that's my philosophy. Plus I didn't plan on getting so much for just one game. Some days I do well, some days are dry but I am sure to at least cover what I spent. What I found most amusing was when my auction started going high there was half a dozen new listings on the same day, trying to capitalize on the frenzy I guess.

I like my ME page, it should get updated sometime. If Joe has access to the records he may notice a certain Greebly G. Geebles is subscribed to Tips n Tricks. :D

To bring up the point of the stock image, I don't think this is one provided by eBay, but I could be wrong.

Has anyone else found themselves shying away from auctions that have the eBay stock images & information? I found a few auctions that used this for DC games that I need to complete my collection, but when I saw that the seller only added a few general comments and nothing to deal with the actual game other than what eBay has in their system, I'm deciding against these auctions. :o

I won't hardly look at an auction with a stock image. I figure how good a seller are they going to be if they're to lazy to even take a picture. :hmm:

A week ago I saw it go for $20 and included the "Blockbuster Exclusive" box which was in pretty good shape. I would have bid, but I was away that weekend.

I agree with both of you 100%. If the seller is to lazy to take a picture, then how is their shipping going to be???
