Hi!
Is this possible(?):
U know there are these "flash-cards" for GBA on which u can download NES-roms to play them on GBA.
I wonder if those GBA flash-cards also work with the Gamecube Gameboyplayer? Normally they work, wouldn't they?
Or does the Gameboyplayer detects that it isn't a offical card?
If it works,I could play the NES-Roms on the flashcard via Gameboyplayer and Gamecube on TV-screen or is this just lots of bullcrap I'm talking ( :D ) ?

Thanx in advance for replies

Yep, the flash cards work in the GB Player. And yes, if you use the NES emulator for the GBA in the GB Player you can play all those NES games emulated right through your Cube on the big screen! Ain't life grand?

How does that method stack up to the real NES experience?

I wonder if those flash cards are sold in normal stores/shops in the US or do u also have to order them on various sites?
They don't sell them in shops here in europe.

Are they not allowed to be sold in stores/shops or what?
confusing....

They are hard to find now as with any other backup devices. There are places on the net in HK that still sell them. Just have to look hard and make sure you order from a reputable source with a credit card that will insure you if it never arrives!

ack! i wanted one of these things forever, and found a cheaper substitute considering these flash carts get confusing at times. they want you to pay $150 for it then you find out you need all these cables and o......you paid $39 for some cables.....did you forget this other one. but i was looking at the site i acquired a modchip from and low and behold they have them there. and they're located in-state(for me) they were $99. don't know if you'd need other cables but it looked like a decent price to me. the company/store is called console corner, check it out.

I wouldn't be surprised if one day soon if you could. I was on 1 site that actually sold a Gamecube boot disc so you could play import titles. They even had a garentee "If it does not work for you we will glady refund the purchase price" I swear that was posted on there site. If I do find I'll post it in "Where to find" in the emulator forum

i thought action replay booted import games as well as other things. and there are many other boot discs. but somebody has to write an emulator......so......

Which could spawn another debate who has the skill to write one?

i have no clue on that one.......but you think it would be relatively easy. i mean, NES has been emulated on much slower machines.....so i'm sure it's possible. it's just a matter of somebody getting it done. you never hear anything about gamecube emulation or modding. i mean........i just think it would be cool to play my nes games on my gamecube...
