Does such a beast exist? It would be a lot cooler if it did.

There was a gadget for the GBC known as the Songboy, which I imagine must also work with the GBA (if the Songboy producers haven't made a new device in the meantime).

That is very cool. But if I understand correctly, it just uses the GBC/GBA as a power source, and you plug your headphones directly into the Songboy, not into the GBA's headphone jack (which would actually be a bonus if you're using the SP). Also, it looks to be roughly the size of a standard Game Boy (not GBA) cart, so it would be a tad clunky using it with a GBA/SP. But still, pretty cool.

It says it has a 32 MB memory card. That's like, what, a half hour worth of music?

I think it costs around 39.99 if i'm correct.

depends how good of music you're listening to......32 megs could be 5 songs or it could be 8 songs.......and you might squeeze a half hour or more on there. such a waste. you can get an mp3 player that will do the same for $20 on ebay......

Yes, while it is perhaps impractical and silly, the idea of using my GBA to play mp3s has a certain undeniable charm (in my view, anyway).

Hey, could you get a larger capacity card to go into it, so that you could pack some serious tunage?
