Both are fantastic sellers.

Please, if you want to play this game and have the means to do so support SNK and buy it. I want to see a sequel.

Hooly cow, that's cheap! I'll certainly pick one up as soon as I get some money.

If I recall, SNK is already working on a sequel.
I just hope they don't read a bunch of fanboy wishlists and assume that the game engine is fine as is, and just needs more characters. That would blow ass.

Wow, it's less than two weeks away. If I could afford that MVS kit, I could play it, if I could afford a Supergun.

Okay, so I'll wait for the PS2 version, or for an arcade around me to get the MVS board. Still, that's a damn fine deal for some. And it comes with a mini-marquee!

True dat. I'm just looking forward to playing it so I can't comment on the game engine part, but I agree that more needs to be worked on than just more characters.

I have to wait for the PS2 version. I guess Ghost Recon Jungle Storm and Socom 2 will hold me over until then :D

Funny thing is, the PS2 cover is nicer than the homecart one.

uber, I agree the game engine needs some tweaking. They best improve the gameplay along with add new characters.

OH MY GOD! I'm selling a NGage soon and if eBay doesn't let me down... I CAN BUY THIS~!

YES!!!

p.s. Any chance SSV will be $76? :D

I'd buy that for a dollar! Unfortunately, I have to pay $174. It's still a sweet deal, though, maybe something that I could sell some games I don't play anymore for. :D

I think I might be getting one of these. What else would I need to make that happen? In terms of the most cost effective way and hardware wise.

Here's what I did, but realize I got impatient and paid about $30 too much for the board:

MV-1FZ Neo Geo board (1-slot, cheapest) - $140
Supergun ('minigun' made by broken from ng.com) - $200
Neo Arcade Stick - $35

so... $375 for the system all together, but the savings on MVS games over AES is huge.

SSV is at $485 right now. I guess some overseas place is advertising $398 for it. Hopefully I can cancel my SvC homecart preorder and get a SSV kit instead once it hits around $300.

oh, butta, thanks for SamSho, it only took like THREE HOURS to ship there, heh.

Came home, saw the package on my table and said "Who's N. Boyko"?

Yeah, $140 is a bit much for that board, but what the shit. I waaay overpaid for my ST-V because I was impatient and I don't even use the damn thing anymore.

Welcome to the MVS club, BTW.

On a related note, I hear Sam Sho 5 is pretty sweet. Despite having the insane characters of Mina (keepaway/punishing god) and Rera(always in your face from the sheer speed), it's a good sequel to the earlier samurai shodowns and superior to SNK vs Capcom-at least, the players in Japan seem to think so, at this point.
