As long as the last game you beat topic is up, let's hear it...what was the first game you beat?
Miine Was Pitfall 2 for the 2600, next was Pitfall 2 for the Commodore 64. I didn't think much of it at the time, but I though it was extremely cool.
The next game I beat was was a coupl;e years later...Kid Icarus for the NES...I nearly flipped my lid when I did this! The game still hold s adear spot in my heart...Kid Icarus rules!

and yes, kid icarus does rule.
Probably Super Mario Bros., unless you count finishing the fourth level of Donkey Kong as "beating" it.

Well the first game I absolutely "mastered" was undoubtedly the arcade version of Space Invaders. I could roll over the original Taito/Midway machines multiple times.
The first game I guess I "beat" was probably.. hmmm Adventure. I can't think of any other game I'd played that had an ending before that one.

While most of you's were NESsing, I was toiling away on my Sega Master System. Probably the only guy for miles.
But Zillion was my bitch! OOOOOh the satisfaction. :D
WAs never good enough to 'wrap' the older games I played in the arcades of my youth. A 'wrap' was as close to beating as those got.

Super Mario Bros. I remember it very well--my cousin and I sat in his basement one evening until we beat it. We didn't use the warp cheat either!

Finished all 10 levels on Skate Rock for my Commodore 64. Still one of my favorite C64 games ever...
On a console, definitely Super Mario Bros.

I'd probably say Atari's Combat. I can't do that again since I no longer have a baseball bat or the cartridge anymore :D .

Believe it or not, Shining in the Darkness for Genesis. I got a late start gaming and never had a system till high school. I beat Shining in the Darkness, FF3, and Link to the Past in quick succession when I got the systems! :)

my friend and I beat Streets of Rage 2 for the Genesis a COUNTLESS number of times, until my babysitters oldest son borrowed it to a friend, and never got it back.
