GAH! I was off by a decimal....and that's WAY frightening! $3000+ for an advertisement is beyond insane! I did the conversion in my head and for some reason I was thinking 30,000 yen, not 300,000! My bad there!
But HOLY GODS. Yeah...that's THE most expensive PCE item EVER. And WHY? Why would anyone pay that? I don't get it......

Don't feel bad Max. I took a 178,000 yen game to the register once, thinking it was 17,800 and that I was getting it for a steal. I was rudely awakened.
As much as the PC-Engine market has died down, the diehards are still diehard. I dare say a PC Cocoron would pull in close to the same amount, even though it'd only be a CDR.
The thing is rare, and that's the only reason it's so expensive.
